I choose to find daily inspiration and beauty. The love of my husband keeps me grateful and believing in soul mates. I’m an artist trying to capture small moments in life - for they hold us together. I admire truth and creativity in others. I love thunderstorms and I desire to travel the world. My perfect afternoon at home would include vases full of gerbera daisies, Mexican food, a great movie and snuggling with my dog.
Here you will find a daily list of my favorite things. May it be a place that helps you take notice of all the glorious things around us on a day to day basis that are wonderful, beautiful and worth being thankful for.

This Weekend’s Favorites 4.18/19/20.08 were…

Friday

• I had a great appointment for work. I am really looking forward to the possibilities that are opening up for my mural business.

• I had the best time on our “date” with Brad and June! Shane won the Oscar night at our Young Adult Party and the winning prize was dinner with Brad and June. They made it such a fun evening! They came and picked us up and took us to McCormick and Schmick’s for dinner - Brad even made reservations! We had a private booth with a curtain and everything. It was so fun! Then they came back to our house and watched Juno with us. The best part of the night was our conversations though. I absolutely adore both of them and admire them very much! Thank you both!

Saturday

• We slept in!

• Shane went out and picked up coffee and C-rolls and brought it back to enjoy in bed.

• We spent the day completely relaxing together! We watched FOOD network all morning, we walked the dog in the afternoon and took a nap later on. It was awesome!

• We had a Dance Team social - we all ate at Chapala and then headed to the Olathe North Spring Show. It was a great production. Sister and I always have fun hanging out with our girls.

Sunday

• I am really enjoying our class at church right now. Shane and I are taking a Premarital Counseling class and it has been filled with great conversations and ideas. I like the people in our class a lot too so that helps.

• Our friend’s kiddo Tanner came and sat with us today during the service. He is so cute - he made me laugh!

• Having lunch with Sidna. We had such a nice visit - what a sweet woman!

• Nap time after lunch.

• Shane is working on a new website for Alli Arnold Art. I am really excited about it because he is creating it so I can manage it and update it on my own.
